Designing Side Quests – Creative Workshop Led by Wojtek

On June 12th, we hosted an engaging workshop on how to design side quests, led by our dedicated volunteer, Wojtek.

Around ten young participants gathered to explore the art of creating compelling missions. The session began with a presentation explaining the concept of side quests and how they function within game design. Wojtek also shared useful tips and methods for crafting interesting and meaningful side missions.

Next, we split into small groups and used specially designed worksheets to create our own side quests. After completing the task, each group presented their work to the rest of the participants, showcasing their creativity and storytelling skills.

The final challenge of the workshop was to record a short video role-playing a side quest—choosing one designed by a different group. This activity brought the ideas to life and encouraged teamwork and performance.

To wrap things up, all the recorded videos were shared and reviewed as part of a group evaluation. Wojtek then thanked everyone for their enthusiastic participation, and we ended the day with smiles and goodbyes.

It was a fun and inspiring experience for everyone involved!
