The “Unlock Your Ambition” youth exchange took place from 1 to 9 February in Ivančice, Czech Republic. The Erasmus+ programme, funded by the European Union, made it possible for participants from Poland, Germany, Serbia, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic to come together. pewobe g GmbH took part in the project as a partner organisation. The “Kompetenzteam” from the International Work and Projects Department proudly represented Poland and Germany at the event.

For nine days we created a space for sharing cultures, ideas, and perspectives while developing new skills and learning what it means to be active members of society.
Through non-formal education and intercultural learning, we explored our personal ambitions. We identified and categorized our wishes for our own lives and worked to develop realistic plans that we can implement in our own communities. We also discussed the difference between active and passive citizenship, learned about group roles, and reflected on what makes a good leader.
We spent a day in Brno, where we took part in a city game in which we explored the main landmarks. We also visited the Europe Direct office and learned about various opportunities for young people, including scholarships and volunteering programs.
Cultural nights gave us the opportunity to present our countries, share traditional dishes and dances, and learn more about each other all in a positive and friendly atmosphere.
