On December 2, 2024, we hosted a special event as part of the Lebendiger Adventskalender (Living Advent Calendar), tracing diverse Christmas traditions from Europe and beyond.
Our volunteering team prepared an engaging board game-like activity for visitors, highlighting 14 different countries and their unique holiday customs. Some of the featured countries included Italy, Spain, Jamaica, Ghana, and Iceland. Alongside the fun challenges related to these Christmas traditions, we offered festive beverages and cookies to help everyone immerse themselves in the holiday spirit.
The warm atmosphere, joyful music, and genuine smiles created a space for meaningful conversations and happy moments. From 3 PM to 7 PM, we enthusiastically introduced our work, office, and the diverse Christmas traditions to our guests. It was truly a pleasure to meet so many new faces and share this festive experience with them.
