From January 31st to February 9th, our Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project unfolded in the serene setting of Hirschluch, Brandenburg, Germany. Participants from Germany, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Jordan, and Armenia came together, creating a vibrant and diverse community.
Over the course of eight transformative days, we delved into the complexities of mental health, exploring challenges like anxiety and depression while learning supportive practices such as yoga and peer assistance. It wasn’t all about serious discussions—laughter, connection, and cultural exchange were at the heart of the experience. We explored Berlin, visited the inspiring Futurium, and enjoyed lively cultural nights filled with karaoke and themed events that helped us forget the winter chill.
Active participation was key, with national teams, including our ESC and BFD volunteers, leading engaging workshops in a non-formal, educational setting. Together, we built a safe space to learn, share, and grow, making the project a true success.
As we return home, it’s now our mission to implement the knowledge gained, support one another, and contribute to a world that’s more understanding, compassionate, and united.
