On March 26th, one of our dedicated volunteers, Wojtek, conducted an engaging workshop for Kompetenzteam members and volunteers. The session focused on creativity and teamwork, bringing participants together to collaboratively create a fantasy world.
To introduce the topic, Wojtek started with a presentation, offering deep insights into the process of building fictional worlds. This foundation set the stage for the hands-on activities that followed.
The workshop was structured into three interconnected stations:
- Map Creation – Participants designed a map for the fantasy world, adding smaller locations and key details. The structure and design of the map played a crucial role in shaping the world.
- History & Mythology Development – This group worked on the historical background, myths, and creatures inhabiting the world. Their work influenced the placement of beings on the map, enriching the overall storyline.
- Character Design & Lore – The final station created fictional characters, developing their background stories, names, and roles within the world. This step brought the fantasy setting to life with unique personalities.
At the end of the workshop, each group presented their work, sharing their ideas and stories. The session was filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of laughter, making it a truly memorable experience.
