Would you like to gain new experiences, develop professionally and get to know another country? Then Mission Zukunft – International experience for new perspectives is just the thing for you.

During our two-month internship abroad, you’ll have the chance to gain international work experience, meet new people, improve your language skills and push yourself to new heights. You’ll not only discover a new country – but often discover whole new sides to yourself as well.

Living and working in Macedonia or Italy

Together, we go grocery shopping, cook, clean, organise and have fun. In the process, participants develop important skills that extend far beyond everyday working life: independence, a sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team and organisational skills.

Of course, you won’t be on your own. Experienced educational staff will be on hand to support you throughout your stay. They’ll help you with organisational matters and your personal development, and assist you in successfully overcoming challenges.

An internship that suits you

Every person is unique – that’s why, together with our Italian and Macedonian partner organisations, we look for an internship that suits your interests and strengths.

Our participants can gain practical experience in the following areas, amongst others:

• Food service
• Animal care
• Agriculture and horticulture
• Butcher’s
• Sport and fitness
• Library
• Culture
• Language teaching
• Car repair workshop
• Child and youth care

You’ll gain a real insight into day-to-day working life in another country, learn about new ways of working and gain valuable experience for your future career.

Learning a language – in everyday life

Of course, your stay won’t be all about work. Together, we’ll explore the most beautiful sights, spend time by the sea, visit historic towns and soak up the local way of life.

Highlights in Italy include, for example:

• Rome
• Assisi
• Nettuno
• the impressive Marmore Waterfalls
• trips to the seaside
• nature parks and idyllic towns in Umbria

Joint cooking evenings, games, sport and leisure activities ensure that a group quickly becomes a real community.
