The Borderless Youth Festival will take place on 25 July 2026 in Słubice. This German-Polish youth festival is being organised jointly by pewobe g GmbH in Frankfurt (Oder) and Stowarzyszenie West Noise.
The project is funded under the Small Projects Fund (KPF) of the Euroregion PRO EUROPA VIADRINA as part of the INTERREG VI A Brandenburg–Poland 2021–2027 cooperation programme.
The idea for the event arose following the German-Polish Youth Conference at the end of 2025. The conference participants developed the concept for this cultural event for young people from Słubice and Frankfurt (Oder). The focus is on youth participation and cross-border cooperation.
The festival is designed as an open and accessible platform. It is organised by young people for young people. It combines music, art, workshops and social initiatives in a less formal and more community-oriented format. The programme includes DIY and creative workshops, an open stage for up-and-coming young artists, and an evening DJ programme organised by the cooperation partner Westnoise.
Young people are invited to take part in the festival in any way they like – whether through their own performances, by taking part in workshops, or by discovering local initiatives in both cities. At its heart, the festival is about spending time together, getting to know new people, listening to music and engaging in creative activities. We want to create an open and creative atmosphere for this.
An important part of the festival is the ‘Market of Opportunities’: here, youth organisations, youth work providers, informal groups and local initiatives from both sides of the border can present their activities and make contacts with participants. The festival will take place on 25 July 2026 from 11.00 am in Słubice on the SOSiR site.
