Exploring Europe Through Creative Clay Art with Gary.

We recently had a workshop where young people went on an interesting trip around Europe. It wasn’t just looking at maps and learning facts but also feeling and using clay! The session started with a talk that made everyone curious about the countries in the EU, their cool traditions,

important cities with lots of history, and the inspiring people who helped make them what they are. The lively talks and everyone joining in showed they were really interested in the different parts of Europe.

After the talk where everyone could share ideas, it was time to use our hands – for real! With mud and what they had just learned, the young artists started to make famous European memorials and well-known places. Small Eiffel Towers started to appear, the Leaning Tower of Pisa leaned just right, and other famous buildings took shape thanks to skilful hands.

The room was busy with everyone paying attention and talking creatively as they turned what they knew about these landmarks into art you could touch. Each muddy creation showed what they had learned and how they saw these places in their own way. Mixing learning with making art was a really special and good experience, proving that learning about Europe can teach you a lot and be a lot of fun!
